SRH vs MI, IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians beats Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 Wickets

SRH vs MI: Today at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 41st match of the IPL 2025. Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to bowl first, and SRH struggled with a disappointing batting performance. MI won the match by seven wickets in just 15.1 overs. 

SRH scores 141 runs

Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to score only 141 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. The Orange Army had a poor start, losing five wickets for just 38 runs within the first eight overs. However, Heinrich Klaasen (71) and Abhinav Manohar (43) balanced the situation with a strong 114-run partnership, helping the team to recover in the later half. 

MI climbed to fourth position

Chasing the target, Mumbai Indians secured their victory in just 15.4 overs, finishing with 4.2 overs to spare. This marks their fourth consecutive win in IPL 2025. MI has climbed to fourth position with this victory on the IPL points table. For Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma scored 70 runs out of 46 balls, followed by Surya Kumar Yadav and Will Jacks with 40 runs and 22 runs, respectively. 

Balanced Pitch, Bowlers Shine

The pitch was known for favoring both the batting and bowling lineups. Batters have played well from both side scoring 50s while bowlers also had their moments with swing assisting them on their surface. Trent Boult stood out for Mumbai, taking 4 wickets for just 26 runs. Deepak Chahar took 2 wickets. Meanwhile, for SRH, Jaydev Unadkat, Eshan Malinga, and Zeeshan Ansari each took a wicket.
