Veer Abdul Hamid Vichar Manch, under the leadership of its President Syed Ahsan Akhtar, organized a special event on 30th August 2025 in Club House, Exotic Fresco,Noida to commemorate Dara Shikoh, the great Mughal prince remembered for his vision of unity, secularism, and humanity.
The event was graced by Ms. Shazia Ilmi, BJP National Spokesperson, who lauded the efforts of Mr. Syed Ahsan Akhtar. “Dara Shikoh is a true inspiration for the idea of India rooted in inclusivity and harmony,” she said, highlighting his role as a symbol of humanity and the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb. Mr. Javed Malik, Regional President, BJP Minority Morcha (U.P.), also appreciated the initiative. He emphasized that Dara Shikoh remains an inspiration for his fight against tyranny and his commitment to secularism and human values.

Renowned film critic Mr. Murtaza Ali Khan praised the organizers and enlightened the audience with detailed insights into Dara Shikoh’s life, his vision for religious harmony, and his remarkable contributions towards secular thought and inclusive culture. Mr. Sumit Chaturvedi also commended the efforts of Mr. Syed Ahsan Akhtar, affirming that Dara Shikoh’s life continues to be a shining example of humanity and secularism.
The event concluded with a strong message that Dara Shikoh’s ideals remain deeply relevant in today’s times, inspiring society to uphold the values of unity in diversity. Mr. Akhtar thanked all dignitaries and assured that the Manch will continue such initiatives to spread these ideals among the youth.
