This win reinforces India’s dominance over Pakistan in today’s T20 Asia Cup encounters. Beyond the cricket, the captain dedicated the victory to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and saluted the country’s armed forces.

During the toss, Indian captain declined to shake hands with his Pakistani counterpart. At the end of the match, Indian players also avoided handshakes with the Pakistani players, which reflected the increased political tensions surrounding the fixture.
