Greater Noida: BJP Leader and President of Veer Abdul Hamid Vichar Manch, Syed Ahsan Akhtar, issued a strong statement asserting that nothing is bigger or above the Nation. Reiterating his commitment to national integrity, he said, “Jo mulk ka dushman hai, woh hamara dushman hai. Nation always comes first.”
Akhtar strongly condemned the remarks made by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind’s Mehmood Madani Sahab in Bhopal, emphasizing that such statements harm the fabric of national unity.
He appealed to all religious and social leaders to speak the language of unity, harmony, and patriotism, instead of creating unnecessary controversies.
Muslims Must Stand With the Nation, Says Akhtar
He stated that anyone who supports the Nation and works for India’s progress deserves the support of every Indian citizen, including Muslims. He invoked the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), stating that love and loyalty towards one’s nation is an integral part of Deen (faith).
On Vande Mataram Controversy
Referring to the debate stirred by some Ulema on the recitation of Vande Mataram, Syed Ahsan Akhtar said:
“We must always regard our Nation as our Mother — Madre Watan. We are Indians by choice, not by chance. Our forefathers rejected the divisive ideology of Jinnah and proudly chose Bharat as their motherland.”
BJP Government Ensures Equal Opportunities for All
Akhtar highlighted that under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, the BJP government has never discriminated against minorities in any welfare scheme. Every community has been given equal benefits across all government initiatives, truly reflecting the spirit of: “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”
Message of Unity
At the end he said, “United we stand; divided we fall. Only national unity can take India towards greater strength and prosperity.”
