Revenge Done: Virat Kohli Blasts in Champions Trophy

Hope never dies when you have the ability or passion to win. Yes, Virat Kohli, who was facing criticism due to his form for the last one and a half years, countered by scoring runs in the Champion Trophy.

Playing a thrilling game in the semi-final, Virat Kohli and his colleague chased 264 runs made by the last time’s World Cup undefeated team, Australia. Winning the toss, the Australian team chose to bat first at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and scored average runs on the table. Stew Smith, at 73, made the highest score from the team.

The Indian team, under the best combination of all-rounders, chased the score in just 49 overs. Virat Kohli batted using the wrist and scored 84 runs to pull Australia out from the game and make India’s way to enter in the final.

Making a big chase from the beginning of the Champions Trophy, Virat scored a century against Pakistan and led India towards the semifinals. Today, on March 4, the pride of Indian cricket, Virat, notched runs in the first semifinal.

In this match, Kohli became India’s leading run scorer in the Champions Trophy. The 36-year-old man in the blue jersey changed the arena of the game, putting pressure on the bowlers with a valuable partnership with Shreyas Iyer.

After this tremendous win, India enters the final to fight with another team that will go after winning the second semi-final tomorrow. This year’s Champions Trophy’s final match will be held on the same pitch. Fans are ready to shout for the Indian team ahead of the final.
