Vandalization of Hindu Temples: The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills, California, was vandalized on Saturday. The Hindu temple was desecrated by unknown people in the city. This is the second time in a month ahead of Khalistani extremism that Hindu temple is facing defacement.
Indian officials strongly condemned the incident and demanded strict action against those responsible. The Indian administration asked US officials and local authorities to provide adequate safety to the place of worship.
External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated on the matter that, “India is significantly looking at the issues regarding the vandalism at a Hindu temple in Chino Hills, California. We condemn such despicable acts in the strongest terms. We connected to the local administration regarding the matter and requested strict steps.”
