Extraordinary lifestyle in Goa

Goa, an Indian state famous for beaches, casinos, and funky hangouts. Adults often grab the opportunity to visit Goa to have some fun, escape routine, and create some memories with friends.

Goa offers some wonderful locations for its tourists to visit, such as many beaches like Coco Beach, Baga Beach, etc., which are renowned for their lively atmosphere, beach shacks, and water sports. Furthermore, places like the Agoda Fort and Lower Fort, the beautiful historical locations, give breathtaking views of the ocean. Goa is famous for cruise casinos as well; casinos like Deltin Royale and Majestic Pride are some well-known cruise casinos that offer grand settings and rich outlooks.

Goa is a beautiful place for holidays, but it definitely has issues such as avoiding the use of UPI payments, limited availability of taxi services, and scams as well. Although the government taxi app Goa Miles is available, it has many loopholes, such as you can book only one taxi at a time, and also taxi drivers often avoid using the app as it includes online transactions, which they usually want to avoid.

In Goa, people do not prefer online payment from taxi drivers to government taxes. It is mainly because the government itself accepts most of the payments in cash and accepts only service tax and VAT payments online.

Government departments don’t accept checks for fear that they will have to run from pillar to post in the event the check bounces. That leaves people with no other option but to make payments in cash. Now the Goa government has made an announcement to make Goa cashless from 31 December and promote online payments.
