Asif Ali starrer Abhyanthara Kuttavaali the much-anticipated Malayalam film has been delayed following unexpected allegations of financial discrepancy. The film was originally set to release on April 17, 2025. But due to recent roadblocks the film’s release is uncertain, as the production team addresses the legal challenges.

Director Sethu Nath Padmakumar allegations

In an Instagram video, Director Sethu Nath Padmakumar addressed the situation in a recent statement, expressing surprise over the allegations and affirming that neither he nor producer Naisam Salam had accepted any money from the complainant. He emphasized that the team is taking legal action to resolve the matter and hopes to release the film soon after clearing their name. 

Marital Drama Meets Legal Battle

Abhyanthara Kuttavaali is a courtroom drama that portrays the complexities of marital conflicts and legal battles. Asif Also featured as Sahadevan, an ordinary man trapped in a strained second marriage, facing domestic violence allegations and dowry harassment. The plot revolves around the misuse of laws that are intended to protect individuals but end up turning legal proceedings into a form of punishment.

New Faces, Veteran Crew Unite

The film features newcomer Thulasi as the female lead, with a supporting cast including Jagadish, Harisree Ashokan, Prem Kumar, Sidharth Bharathan, and others. The technical crew comprises cinematographer Ajay David Kachappilly, editor Sobin K Soman, and music director Bijibal. Produced by Naisam Salam under the banner of Naisam Salam Productions, the film was shot over 45 days across various locations in Thrissur and Idukki districts.

Asif Ali, who has recently delivered back-to-back hits with Kishkindha Kaandam and Rekhachithram, is looking to continue his successful streak with Abhyanthara Kuttavaali. The actor has expressed that the film addresses significant issues concerning men and is eager to see how audiences will receive it.
