Athiya Shetty & KL Rahul Name Baby Girl ‘Evaarah’, reveals picture on social media 

Earlier today, Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and Indian cricketer KL Rahul have revealed the name of their first born. The couple took to social media to announce the name of their daughter ‘Evraah.’ Athiya and Rahul, tied the knot in January 2023, and welcomed their first child on March 24, 2023.

The unique origin of the name ‘Evaarah’ is from a Sanskrit word which translates to “Gift of God.” The couple posted a picture on their Instagram handle, featuring KL Rahul holding their baby in his arms, with Athiya gazing lovingly at her. The picture had a caption saying,”Out baby girl, our everything. Evaarah — Gift of God.”

The announcement gained positive reactions along with congratulations and warm wishes from fans and celebrities alike. Popular celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and Anushka Sharma showered the couple with blessings and warm wishes.

Athiya’s and Rahul’s journey had garnered quite a lot of attention during their courtship. Netizens closely followed their dating up until they married each other in an intimate ceremony at Suniel Sherry’s farmhouse in Khandala in January 2023, after dating for several years. Their wedding was attended by close friends and family, and the couple shared glimpses of their special day on social media.

The couple announced their pregnancy last year in November. The couple has shared a heartfelt post featuring an image of tiny baby shoes and evil eye charm, symbolising protection and good fortune. The post was captioned,”Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025.”
