Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the United States (US) to meet the second-term elected president Donald Trump in the White House. It is an official visit of Zelenskyy held on February 28, after Trump came to power. Trump greeted him at the door, joining hands and hugging him warmly.
Recently PM Modi went to America and discussed several issues with President Trump, including tariffs and immigration. President Zelenskyy also made a tour of the US, ensuring the best approach for the nations. President Trump praises the effort of Ukrainian soldiers, which they used to down the Russian monopoly, and highlighted a crucial economic deal in the meeting.
Since America lacks minerals in the entire region, the Trump government has planned to make a deal with Ukraine, as it has abundant minerals, which are essential for artificial intelligence and military weaponry.
It is a big commitment from the United States, Trump says.
In this meeting, both heads of state conversed about the Russian-Ukrainian war that has been going on since 2023. Mr. Zelenskyy said that the European Union (EU) failed to assist Ukraine compared to America during the war.
Accusing Putin of being a terrorist and calling him a killer, Mr. Zelenskyy said that Putin is a killer and there is no compromise to meet with the killer.
Ahead of this tour, Ukrainian officials set out to make an economic deal with the US, focusing on issues like reconstructing sites in Ukraine. This deal will continue for a long period of time and will help to ensure the best approach.
At the end of this visit, Zelenskyy hoped to make a security deal to strengthen the military and provide security to Ukraine from Russian attack.
