Farah Khan, who is a renowned filmmaker and choreographer, recently booked over her Holi comment. In this season of controversy over various things available on the internet, this is the new edition. This complaint has been lodged by Hindustani Bhau, who is a famous internet personality from Maharashtra. He has also been part of Bigg Boss, a famous reality show hosted by Salman Khan and occasionally hosted by Farah Khan.
Reports suggest that in a viral video on the internet, Farah Khan was seen commenting on some remarks on Holi, which many internet users found offensive and called her out for action. In this video, Farah Khan is remarking Holi as the festival of Chapri. Currently, Farah Khan is the host of the famous show Celebrity MasterChef.
While filing for Vikas, Fhatak, also known as Hindustani Bhau, blamed Farah Khan for not just offending religious sentiment but also harming the selective community and harmony of India. In addition to Bhaus comment, his lawyer Deshmukh said that his client wanted hard action on Farah Khan for her derogatory remarks and actions and that action should be taken upon her under IPC.
2025 remains as the year of controversies so far; prior to this incident, comedian Samay Raina and lifestyle influencer Ranveer Allahbadia have also been in trouble for projecting derogatory remarks on the parents of one of their contestants. Their actions were also widely called out by many politicians and religious influencers.
This incident happened on the set of India’s Got Talent, a YouTube comedy-based show. Later on, Samay Raina, who is also the owner of that platform, deleted all the videos related to that show and apologized for the same. Ranveer Allahbadia also shared his apology regarding his comments on contestants’ parents. As for now, a probe is going on in the case of Samay Raina and all the guests present at the time of the recording of that show.
